Kourtney Kardashian is feeling all the emotions.
The 46-year-old reality star took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to share a teary moment with her 218 million followers. Dressed in cheetah-print pajamas, Kourtney covered her eyes in a blurry photo snapped by her 12-year-old daughter, Penelope.
She captioned the photo:
“Me crying bc my baby girl is done with 6th grade (she’s taking pic of me)”
But while the moment was sweet, it comes at a complicated time in Kourtney’s life.
She shares Penelope, as well as sons Mason (15) and Reign (10), with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick — and sources say the two are currently clashing over how to raise their kids, especially when it comes to education.
At the center of the disagreement? Homeschooling.
Kourtney, founder of POOSH and mom of four, wants her children homeschooled — claiming on Khloé Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast that her kids prefer it that way. But Scott reportedly isn’t having it.
According to insiders who spoke with DailyMail, the 42-year-old real estate investor is “deeply upset” and believes traditional schooling is “essential.” One source added:
“Scott strongly disagrees with Kourtney’s parenting style and finds her comments irresponsible. He values hard work and structure and doesn’t support removing the kids from school.”
While Kourtney didn’t directly address the tension in her post, her emotional reaction and the quiet moment shared with her daughter hint at the deep family shifts happening behind the scenes.
Kourtney is also a new mom again. In late 2023, she welcomed her fourth child, Rocky, with husband Travis Barker, whom she married in 2022.
Meanwhile, Penelope her only daughter is just weeks away from turning 13, marking another emotional milestone for Kourtney.
