Popular cleric and leading pastor of The King Worship Chapel and Ministry, in Kaduna State, Rev. David Ayuba Azzaman, has d!ed in an auto crash.

The evangelist, known for his bold online engagements and spirited interfaith debates, was reported to have d!ed on Saturday, May 24, 2025, after a fatal motor accident on his way back to Kaduna from Makurdi, Benue State.

The tragic news is coming four months after he revealed that a pastor told him to pray against d3ath by accident.

In a Facebook post dated January 29th 2025, he said the pastor saw a vision of d3ath by accident and requested that he pray against it.

As a prominent cleric, he was known for speaking out against the persecution of Christians in the country, particularly in the face of rising kidnappings and violence.

His social media presence, especially on Facebook, made him a notable figure among young Christians and religious scholars. He often drew large audiences during his live video sessions and written exchanges.

Rev. Azzaman often condemned the silence of local and international media regarding the plight of Christians in Nigeria, advocating for greater awareness and action to address these issues.

Born and raised in northern Nigeria, Rev. Azzaman rose to prominence not through the pulpit alone but through his bold forays into theological debates, often engaging Muslim scholars and atheist thinkers on matters of faith and doctrine.

The cleric is survived by his wife and children.
