Nigerians have called out President Tinubu over his statement announcing his planned trip to Benue state.
Tinubu stated on Monday, June 16, that he would visit the troubled state after the recent k!llings. The President further stated that he would ‘adjust his programme’ so as to visit the state.
‘’We should be able to manage our anger and frustrations. I sympathize with those who have lost their lives. I will adjust my programme and go and see Benue people on Wednesday” he said
Reacting to the statement, a Twitter user described it as ‘’arrogant”.
Segun Dada, who is the Special Adviser to the President on New Media, tackled the user for describing the President’s comment as ‘’arrogant”. He argued that nothing President Tinubu does will ever sit well with his critics.
