In 2017, Dr. Obi Okeke made headlines as the Overall Best PhD Graduate at the University of Greenwich — a moment that resonated with Nigerians around the world. Today, widely known as Dr. Obi Okeke, he is not just an academic success story but also a trailblazer in the UK’s supplement industry.

From earning a 2.2 degree at Madonna University in Nigeria to topping his Master’s and PhD classes in the UK, Dr. Okeke’s journey reflects resilience, brilliance, and ambition. Refusing to be limited by degree classifications, he excelled in his Master’s in Pharmaceutical Science, earning First Class Honours and the university’s top award. He then completed his PhD with similar distinction.

Today, Dr. Okeke is the first Black and UK-based Nigerian Director in contract supplement manufacturing, leading Vita Manufacture (www.vitamanufacture.co.uk)

    — a premium Supplement Manufacturer UK. His company supports wellness brands globally by producing private label supplements and premium custom supplements, including:

    Gummy Private Label Supplements

    Protein Powders

    Stick Packs

    Powders and Nootropics

    White Label Supplements UK

Vita Manufacture operates from ISO 22000-certified facilities and is trusted as a Custom Supplement Manufacturer, Powder Manufacturer, and Gummy Supplement Manufacturer UK. The company offers sugar-free, vegan, and halal gummies, and serves brands across health, fitness, and beauty sectors.

Beyond his business success, Dr. Okeke represents a powerful message of Black excellence and African potential in science, entrepreneurship, and innovation. His impact now stretches beyond academia into global economic empowerment — creating jobs, enabling product innovation, and inspiring the next generation of African entrepreneurs.

So yes, remember the Nigerian who topped his PhD class in the UK?

He’s now leading one of the most respected names in vitamin supplement manufacture.
