Taylor Swift has reportedly ended her longtime friendship with Blake Lively after being drawn into Lively’s legal battle with actor and director Justin Baldoni.
According to an insider quoted by the Daily Mail, Swift now regrets ever becoming friends with the Gossip Girl alum, citing the emotional toll and controversy from the ongoing lawsuit.
“Right now, if Taylor had one wish, it would be that she never met Blake,” the source claimed, adding that the stress from the Baldoni case “outweighed the good times” in their decade-long friendship.
The insider said Swift, 35, felt used during Lively’s public and legal feud with Baldoni, which includes a $400 million countersuit filed in January 2025. Swift was initially subpoenaed for information in the case but was later dropped after Baldoni’s legal team claimed they had obtained what they needed.
Adding to the strain, Swift’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, reportedly unfollowed Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and supports Swift’s decision to cut ties permanently.
Allegations had emerged that Lively’s team threatened to leak private messages between her and Swift unless the pop star publicly supported her — a claim Swift’s representatives and Lively’s legal team have both strongly denied.
Despite being named in court documents, Swift’s team clarified she had no creative or personal involvement in the It Ends With Us film and never visited the set during production.
This marks a public and definitive break between two previously close celebrity friends, with sources calling the split “final.”
