Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Travis Hunter will marry longtime girlfriend Leanna Lenee this weekend in Tennessee, as first reported by Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today. The couple met at Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia, where they developed a friendship before dating. They became engaged last year.

The wedding comes as Hunter completes his first week of organized team activities (OTAs) with the Jaguars. Selected second overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, the two-way phenom won the 2024 Heisman Trophy after a standout season at Colorado. As a receiver, he recorded 96 catches for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns, while also making four interceptions and 11 pass breakups on defense.

Notably, Hunter’s father, Travis Hunter Sr., received court permission to attend the ceremony while completing probation related to a 2023 arrest for firearm and drug possession.

The Jaguars acquired Hunter in a draft-day trade with the Cleveland Browns, sending the No. 5 pick and a 2026 first-round selection to move up. He now joins an offensive unit featuring quarterback Trevor Lawrence, second-year wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., and running backs Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby.

Hunter’s professional debut is scheduled for September 7 when Jacksonville hosts the Carolina Panthers at EverBank Stadium. The teams last met in Week 17 of the 2023 season, with the Jaguars winning 26-0.
