Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman has been named in the official Serie A Team of the Season, capping off what has been a sensational individual campaign for the Nigerian international.

The 27-year-old has been a driving force behind Atalanta’s impressive run this season, contributing 15 goals and five assists in 30 league appearances.

His influence in Gian Piero Gasperini’s high-energy system has been undeniable, helping La Dea push for a top-four finish with two games still to go.

Lookman’s inclusion in the Serie A Team of the Season is a reward for his attacking flair, consistent output, and ability to deliver in crucial moments.

His versatility has allowed him to thrive both on the wing and through the middle, combining quick feet with lethal finishing and smart link-up play.

In total, the former RB Leipzig player has now tallied 25 goal contributions across all competitions this season, one of the most productive campaigns of his professional career.

His performances have caught the eye not only in Italy but across Europe, sparking transfer rumours ahead of the summer window.

According to multiple reports, several Premier League giants, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Arsenal, are monitoring Lookman’s situation, with a potential return to England on the cards.

Lookman was not the only Atalanta player recognised. His teammate Mateo Retegui also made the Serie A Best XI.

Meanwhile, Napoli boasted the most selections, with Romelu Lukaku, Scott McTominay, Alessandro Buongiorno, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, and Amir Rrahmani all included.

Inter Milan stars Marcus Thuram, Nicolò Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, and Federico Dimarco also earned spots.

AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders made the cut, while Riccardo Orsolini (Bologna), Moise Kean (Fiorentina), Evan Ndicka (AS Roma), Mattia Zaccagni (Lazio), Kenan Yildiz (Juventus), Che Adams (Torino), and Manuel Locatelli also featured.
