After returning to Chelsea, it was reported that Anselmino was set to leave for the rest of the season on loan in order to gain first team minutes.
Anselmino was set to join Marseille, however saw his deal collapse on deadline day as another Blues star moved on instead.
Joao Felix made the switch to AC Milan, and despite scoring on his debut has seen things fall apart as time has gone on.
Felix is now out of the starting side, and there is no chance the Serie A club complete a permanent purchase of the Portugal international this summer.
