Despite Chelsea doing some transfer business before the Club World Cup began, their summer spending is not expected to have come to an end yet.
After securing the services of Liam Delap, the Blues pushed to complete deals for Jamie Gittens and Mike Maignan before the first transfer deadline.
They were unable to secure either of these players, however remain interested, and expected to return to the table for Gittens in the coming days.
Enzo Maresca has said Chelsea need a new winger, and with the loss of Jadon Sancho they are expected to sign at least one more attacker to their squad before the new Premier League campaign gets underway.

Another name who has emerged as a potential target is Morgan Rogers, who enjoyed an excellent season both in the Premier League and Champions League for Aston Villa.
However, Chelsea grabbed the final spot in next season’s top European competition ahead of Villa, meaning the England international does not currently have that level of football on his radar.
This would be on offer at Stamford Bridge, as well as a manager who is a big fan of his game.

Familiar faces at Chelsea for Rogers
There would be a number of first team players who would be familiar to Rogers should he decide to make the switch to West London this summer.
Rogers frequently interacts with Cole Palmer after the pair featured together for Manchester City’s academy, and are now good friends as a result.
Rogers also messaged Delap after he made his move to Stamford Bridge. The duo also were together at City before making their moves elsewhere for first team football.
The attacker’s versatility is likely extremely attractive to those at Chelsea, with transfer targets such as Joao Pedro and Hugo Ekitike a sign of the profile the Blues are looking for.
