Arsenal signed Raheem Sterling on loan last year and look to be interested in a couple more Chelsea players.
One of those players is Andrey Santos. Earlier this month, it was reported that Arsenal are keen on Santos.
The midfielder has really impressed during his loan spell at Strasbourg this season, recently scoring his 11th goal for the club.
Santos, though, does not appear to be the only Chelsea star currently on Arsenal’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
Enzo Maresca not keen on seeing Christopher Nkunku join Arsenal
It is thought that Arsenal could make an offer for Christopher Nkunku — with the forward also on Mikel Arteta’s shortlist — but Enzo Maresca is reportedly against the idea of such a move.
According to The Sun, while Arsenal are indeed interested in signing Nkunku, Maresca thinks selling to the Gunners or any of their other Premier League rivals would be risky.
The Chelsea manager will find it difficult to persuade the 27-year-old not to join the Gunners, though.
Maresca has overlooked Nkunku in the current campaign, handing him just nine starts in the Premier League.
It is no surprise that the Frenchman, who cost Chelsea £52m, is being heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
Nkunku is looking to make a return from injury against Nottingham Forest on Sunday, which could be his final Premier League game in a blue shirt.
Manchester United and other English clubs also interested in Christopher Nkunku
Arsenal are not the only Premier League team Maresca needs to be worried about. The same Sun report claims that Manchester United and Liverpool have also identified Nkunku as a target.
Newcastle United have joined the race for Nkunku as well, so there could be a real scrap for the Frenchman in the summer.
Who Nkunku chooses to join remains to be seen, but leaving Chelsea would be best for the former RB Leipzig star whether Maresca likes it or not. An attacker of his quality needs to be on the pitch more regularly.
