The former club of one fringe player at Chelsea could be about to offer him a way out of Stamford Bridge this summer.
Several exits are expected at Chelsea once the transfer window opens, with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell not in Enzo Marescaās plans.
In March, Fabrizio Romano reported that Chelsea want Sterling and Chilwell gone, already loaning out the two England internationals to Arsenal and Crystal Palace respectively this season.
However, they are not the only two players likely to leave Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

RB Leipzig want to re-sign Christopher Nkunku
Christopher Nkunku could also depart Chelsea. Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Nkunku, but it is not just them who are keen on the forward.
Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that RB Leipzig want to bring Nkunku back to Germany.
The 27-year-old was on their books before his move to Chelsea and thoroughly impressed there.
His best ever season at the Red Bull Arena saw him score 35 goals in 52 appearances. Unfortunately for Chelsea, they have not seen that kind of form in west London.
Nkunku has struggled to make a real impact for the Blues ā partly because of injuries ā and has only netted six times in 38 Premier League outings. After one game this term, Gary Neville went as far as to label Nkunku āuselessā.
While Leipzig are interested in Nkunku, Chelsea appear to be keen on several of their players as well.

Chelsea like Benjamin Sesko, Castello Lukeba, Xavi Simons and Lois Openda
According to Phillips, Chelsea are interested in Leipzig quartet Benjamin Sesko, Castello Lukeba, Xavi Simons and Lois Openda.
The Chelsea Chronicle has also been informed that Chelsea are eyeing Sesko ahead of the summer transfer window.
Sesko has scored 21 goals in 45 appearances for Leipzig this season, so he could be the right man to come in and help Nicolas Jackson.
