The Super Falcons of Nigeria are set to return to action in an international double-header against archrivals, the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that the friendlies will take place on May 31 and June 3 across two venues in Ogun state.
“We are organizing a friendly match for our senior female national team, the Super Falcons, against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, which will take place at the end of this month,” NFF President Ibrahim Gusau noted.
Double-Header in Two Cities
First Leg: Saturday, May 31 – Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne
Second Leg: Tuesday, June 3 – MKO Abiola Sports Complex, Abeokuta
These two matches, serves as a preparation tool for the Super Falcons ahead of the 2024 WAFCON in Morocco.
“We have arranged two-legged matches. The first leg will be played at Remo Stars Stadium, and the second at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta,” Gusau reiterated.
