The 2025/26 Premier League fixture list has just been announced, and Chelsea supporters will be happy with their opening games.

Enzo Maresca‘s men kick off the season at home to Crystal Palace, which is a change from the previous two campaigns.

Last year, Chelsea faced Manchester City in their first game, while in 2023, they took on Liverpool. Palace will not be easy opposition, however, with the Blues failing to beat them last term.

If the Conference League winners can carry their form from the end of last season into the London derby, though, you would back them to earn all three points. So how exactly will that encounter and the rest of Chelsea’s August play out?

Chelsea win all of their first three Premier League fixtures

After their encounter with Palace, Chelsea travel to West Ham United before welcoming Fulham to Stamford Bridge. Maresca’s men beat the Hammers twice last season and recorded one win and one defeat against Fulham.

Two home games against Palace and Fulham and a trip to West Ham, who really struggled in the previous campaign, there is no reason why Chelsea cannot take maximum points from those three Premier League fixtures.

Liam Delap scores against Crystal Palace

Liam Delap will be aiming to help Chelsea earn nine points from nine. And if his outing in the Blues’ Club World Cup opener is anything to go by, then he could inspire them to do just that.

Delap was the provider for Enzo Fernandez’s goal and looked like a real threat when he came on against Los Angeles FC.

You would not rule out him starting against Palace on 17 August and scoring on his Premier League debut for Chelsea.

Noni Madueke loses spot in team

While August could be a good month for Delap, it may not necessarily be for Noni Madueke.

Madueke has been playing on the left lately, but Chelsea are currently pursuing Jamie Gittens. It means the £29m winger could end up losing his place in the side in August if the Borussia Dortmund star moves to Stamford Bridge this summer.

All in all, the beginning of Chelsea’s 2025/26 Premier League campaign could be very interesting.
