One of Chelsea’s top players is reportedly keen on a move to Real Madrid this summer.

At present, Enzo Maresca probably has a few untouchable stars in his team, including the likes of Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Enzo Fernandez.

Palmer’s form has dipped in the second half of the season, but overall the attacking midfielder and the rest of the above names have had strong campaigns.

However, it has now been claimed that one of that quartet is eyeing a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Chelsea have also been linked with Rodrygo, so it could be one in and one out.

Enzo Fernandez ‘offered’ to Real Madrid

Last month, Fabrizio Romano posted an update on Fernandez’s future, sharing that the midfielder’s full focus is on Chelsea.

However, since then, a report from Spanish outlet Defensa Central has emerged, claiming that Fernandez is “unhappy” in west London.

According to that report, his representatives have now “offered” him to Real Madrid and playing for Los Blancos is something that the 24-year-old wants to do.

Fernandez is not the only Chelsea midfielder who is in the headlines right now. There has also been some speculation surrounding the future of Andrey Santos.

It is being reported that Arsenal are interested in Santos, who has enjoyed a successful loan spell at Strasbourg this season.

How Real Madrid plan to sign Enzo Fernandez

In a possible blow to Chelsea, Real Madrid are keen on Fernandez and have a plan to sign him this summer.

It is believed that Real Madrid want Fernandez to push for a move, just like Thibaut Courtois did when he left Stamford Bridge for the Santiago Bernabeu in 2018.

Fortunately for Chelsea, unlike Courtois, who had entered the final year of his contract, Fernandez still has plenty of time left on his deal.

The Argentina international’s contract does not expire until 2032, meaning that the Blues are not under any pressure to sell him this summer.
