Former Nigeria international, Mutiu Adepoju says Victor Osimhen is a generational talent who will adapt and excel wherever he goes.

Adepoju’s comments come on the heels of the Forward’s club transfer impasse.

Last season, Victor Osimhen played on loan at Galatasaray following a fallout with his parent club, Napoli.

The Super Eagles talisman has also been linked with a number of clubs including Al Hilal, Juventus and a host of Premier League clubs.

However, the forward seems to be holding out and is yet to make a decision, but Mutiu Adepoju insists the situation isn’t dire.

Speaking with Brila.net, the former Real Sociedad midfielder who also earned 48 caps for Nigeria argues that Osimhen’s eventual destination is not a big concern, as the forward has proven his quality.

‘I don’t feel like the concerns we all express is bad but it comes off as a bit unnecessary at times.

‘Victor Osimhen is a star and his quality is there for all to see. I doubt that there’s a club in the world where he won’t fit in or deliver; he has shown that consistently.’

‘Personally, I’d say let’s leave him to his choice and when the right offer for him comes, only him will decide that. We only but have to support him as our national team hero,’ Adepoju concluded.
