Nigerian music star and philanthropist DJ Cuppy has shared a reflective message on Instagram, addressing women who may be in a similar life season as hers.

In the video, Cuppy described her current phase as a “season of solidarity,” where her accomplishments and sense of value are not tied to having a partner.

“I’m probably not the only woman in this situation. A lot of my wins and value right now are not necessarily with or from a partner.”

She referenced a Bible verse that has helped her remain grounded — Isaiah 54:5:

“For your real husband is the one who created you, Lord of all the earth.”

Cuppy explained that this verse reminds her of God’s position in her life.

“It reminds me that actually anyone I fantasize about — my perfect man, my perfect partner — he was created by the Creator. That means we shouldn’t put anyone where God should be.”

She emphasised that God does not leave voids or gaps.

“If you feel like you’re missing something in your life, you’re not. God fills gaps and He will never desert you.”

Cuppy ended the video by encouraging those who are waiting for love or companionship to trust in timing and divine provision.

“While you’re waiting, know that the right person will come at the right time. What is for you will not pass you.”

She captioned the video: “Solidarity and strength #CuppyDat.”
