A man has been arrested after allegedly intruding into the grounds of Windsor Castle, close to the home of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The suspect in his 30s is reported to have accessed the estate in Berkshire around lunchtime on Sunday, it has today emerged.
Both the Metropolitan Police and Thames Valley Police say investigations have been launched.
The security scare comes near to the Windsor home shared by Prince William and Kate.
