Police are investigating a mass shooting in a South Carolina beach town that has sent at least 11 victims to the hospital.
Bullets rang in Little River near Watson Avenue on Sunday at around 9:30pm, according to a statement from the Horry County Police Department (HCPD).
Police and the county fire department rushed to the hectic scene, as video shows several emergency vehicles swarming the area.
Horry County Fire Rescue transported at least 11 injured people to local hospitals. It is unclear how many of those victims were shot.
Police said they received reports of several others being taken to hospitals in personal vehicles.
Community members are urged to stay away from the area as it is still an active scene.
The HCPD believes the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no further risk to the community, they shared in an 11pm update.

Stunned residents have reacted to the Memorial Day weekend chaos online, claiming they heard the gun shots go off.
It is unclear if a suspect has been identified.
This act of violence comes just after after fights broke out and caused a stampede at a Memorial Day event nearby.
At least 10 people were taken to the hospital amid the chaos during a concert at Black Bike Week in Atlantic Beach, which is roughly nine miles away from Little River, on Saturday night.
Interim Town Manager Linda Cheatham released a statement that said an unspecified number of people were hurt.

‘There were a couple of fights that broke out causing panic in the crowd and several people were injured trying to leave the area,’ Cheatham said.
‘Adequate police and medical staff were on hand to aid as needed and transport individuals to the hospital.
‘The music was paused, but the event continued until the festival closing time of 3am.’
