Constitutional lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, says Nigeria is “gradually driving towards a one-party state” and dictatorship.

Ozekhome said this in a fresh interview with Channels TV, while reacting to the gale of defections of politicians to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The latest defection was that of Uno Emo, governor of Akwa Ibom, who joined APC from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ozekhome described the gale of defections as “bootlicking at its highest level”. He warned that Nigeria is moving towards one-party state and, by extension, dictatorship.
