The police in Ondo state have arrested a 41-year-old man identified as Odunayo Olomolatan for allegedly hacking his father’s tenant, 22-year-old Joy Tale, to de@th in Ode-Irele, Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State on Monday, May 5.
The police swept into action after they received a distress call about the incident from neighbors and residents in the area.
Confirming the incident to newsmen, the spokesperson of the command, Olayinka Ayanlade, said the suspect is currently in custody at the Divisional Police Headquarters in Ode-Irele.
“Yes, I can confirm to you that the lady was allegedly hacked to death during argument between her and her landlord son. The suspect has been arrested, and investigation is ongoing to unravel circumstances surround the lady’s death,”Ayanlade said.
