Canadian singer and Elon Musk’s ex-partner, Grimes, has pulled out of her upcoming Pride Month performance — and fans are seriously worried.

The 37-year-old, whose real name is Claire Boucher, made the emotional announcement on X (yes, the platform owned by her billionaire baby daddy) saying she’s battling “family issues” and has no choice but to cancel her show.

“I am so, so sorry and regretful to say I have to cancel my pride show in order to deal with family issues,” she wrote.

According to Dailymail, Grimes was scheduled to perform at the World Pride Festival in Washington D.C., a star-studded celebration set to feature icons like Jennifer Lopez, Troye Sivan, RuPaul, Rita Ora, and Kim Petras.

But the timing of this withdrawal is raising eyebrows, especially as it follows her long and very public feud with Musk over their children — including the futuristic-named trio: X Æ A-12, Exa, and Techno.

Behind the glitter and chaos, Grimes has been sounding the alarm on what she describes as a parenting battle gone too far.

From begging Musk privately…

To calling him out publicly over their son’s medical emergency…

To dragging their custody fight into courtrooms from California to Texas

The “Oblivion” singer has been fighting for access to her kids — and her own peace of mind.

“I have tried begging the public and my kids’ dad to keep them offline,” she once tweeted. “I’ve tried legal recourse.”

“I’m not giving any details, but he won’t respond to texts, calls or emails,” she later added. “Our child will suffer lifelong impairment if he doesn’t respond ASAP.”

In 2023, Grimes sued Musk in California for parental rights. Musk, in turn, responded with his own custody suit in Texas, where his empire — including Tesla and SpaceX — is based.

Sources confirm that the Texas dispute has been settled, but details remain sealed.

Grimes also revealed that her children were allegedly denied access to her terminally ill mother, further complicating an already heartbreaking situation.

In the midst of all this, she’s been open about her mental and neurological diagnosesautism, ADHD, and possibly dyslexia — and how motherhood has changed her.

“Motherhood 100% THE MOST NOBLE task,” she wrote on May 10. “Having kids is the most selfless decision, an investment in all of us.”

And yet, despite her emotional transparency and fight for her family, Grimes now faces criticism for canceling a show that meant a lot to fans.

To them, she says: “I’ll make this up to you very soon.”

For now, the artist is choosing family over the stage — and the world is watching to see what happens next in this very human saga involving one of the world’s most controversial billionaires.
