A Nigerian doctor took to X to celebrate after she got the chance to practice as an assistant surgeon.
However, what most Nigerians noticed was that she was stitching the patient in near darkness, with an assistant holding a phone with torchlight for her.
As Nigerians questioned why she was operating in darkness, she replied: “This is Nigeria! I don’t know why most of you are surprised!”
