Temiloluwa Solomon, brother to Nigerian singer Reekado Banks, is not slowing down on ‘clearing his name.’
In a new Instagram story, Temi addressed ongoing allegations of domestic violence from his past marriage, stating clearly:
“Me, hit Amaka? NEVER, I repeat, NEVER!”
He claims the only physical altercation between them happened in December 2022, during a fight over car keys. According to him, Amaka had used his car to drive her alleged boyfriend, whom he tagged as @rhiyadh_ to the mall and allegedly refused to return the keys.
Temi said he attempted to leave with his second car but was allegedly restrained by Amaka and her mother, which led to a struggle that left him with a bruised eye.
“Had to wear shades for an evening meeting, because I already had a bruised eye.”
He also alleged that she later reported him for domestic violence through her uncle, who is a lawyer. However, he claims the uncle later apologised and even asked to be friends after hearing his side at the police station.
Temi questioned the silence around the issue despite talks of an “exclusive interview” by Amaka:
“She for drop details na.”
He ended the post by addressing those who’ve judged him since 2021:
“Don’t say anything; in one week, it’ll die down… But have you changed your perception of me since 2021?… When I’m ready, y’all better grab popcorns and I hope you choke on it, gullible idiots.”
