Chelsea have just released the design for their new home kit ahead of next season.

On Friday morning, Chelsea revealed via X their new Nike home kit for the 2025/26 campaign.

The design’s primary colour is the club’s traditional blue, paired with white and red trims.

Chelsea fans disliked their 2024/25 home kit, which the team has worn this term. However, there has been a completely opposite reaction to the new release.

Chelsea fans in love with the 2025/26 home kit

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are in agreement that the 2025/26 shirt may be the club’s best kit for quite a long time.

One fan wrote: “This is the best kit we’ve had in years.”

“Absolutely love the new Chelsea 2025/26 home kit. That shirt print looks really cool as well. It is simple but very clean and I think it may be better than our current one!” another said.

One supporter posted: “9/10, best kit in years.”

“Wow, might be the best kit we’ve had in years,” another shared.

Finally, one fan commented: “Probably my favourite Chelsea home kit in a decade. Love the retro feel. Need a sponsor confirmed now, that makes or breaks it.”

Will Chelsea be rocking the new kit in the Champions League?

Enzo Maresca’s target at Chelsea during his maiden year as the club’s head coach was to get them back in the Champions League after missing out on the competition in the last two seasons.

With two Premier League games left of the 2024/25 campaign, it is still not clear whether Champions League football will be back at Stamford Bridge next season.

The Blues occupy fifth spot in the Premier League table, which would be enough for Champions League qualification, but they’ve got two matches remaining to stay there.

It’s in Chelsea’s hands going into fixtures against Manchester United (home) and Nottingham Forest (away) to achieve their Champions League goal. If results in other games go against them, they may need to win both to secure a top-five finish.

Paul Merson predicts Chelsea to beat Manchester United in Friday night’s huge league showdown at Stamford Bridge.

The fans started Friday morning full of delight at the new kit release, but the mood will be very different if the team falls short at home to Man Utd.
