Newly promoted Turkish Super Lig side, Kocaelispor are interested in Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru.
Onyekuru will become a free agent at the end of June when his contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Fayha expires.
According to Turkish outlet Aksam.com.tr, Onyekuru’s representatives are expected to travel to Turkey to hold talks with Kocaelispor.
The 27-year-old is no stranger to Turkish football, having previously played for Galatasaray, where he scored 14 goals and provided three assists in the Super Lig.
He registered 11 goals and three assists in 38 appearances for Al-Fayha.
Kocaelispor are reportedly keen on signing the former Monaco and Olympiacos forward as they believe his experience and attacking quality could play a key role in helping the club retain its top-flight status
