Chelsea star Moises Caicedo swept up the two big individual prizes at the club’s annual awards.
On Sunday night, straight after Chelsea beat Liverpool 3-1 in the Premier League, the Blues held their end-of-season awards ceremony.
However, it’s worth pointing out that the campaign is still very much alive for Enzo Maresca’s side because in this final month they’re fighting to secure Champions League qualification and to win the Conference League.
The outstanding individual at Chelsea in the 2024/25 campaign has been Moises Caicedo, so it’s no great surprise that he won both the Men’s Player of the Season & Players’ Player of the Season.
Following Chelsea’s win against Liverpool, Jason Cundy described Moises Caicedo as “outrageous” for his individual performance. The reality is that the 23-year-old defensive midfielder has delivered so many top-class displays this term.

It’s quite telling that the Ecuador international is the only Chelsea player to start every single league match this season.

Theo Walcott compared Moises Caicedo to Claude Makelele during a recent interview, which is some of the highest praise you can receive as a Blues midfielder.
In the 2023/24 season, Cole Palmer picked up the two significant individual accolades at Chelsea.
The English attacking midfielder won the Player of the Season, voted for by supporters, in his debut year with the Blues. On top of that, he was voted by his teammates as the Players’ Player of the Season.
That feat has now been replicated by Caicedo this year.
Cole Palmer praised Moises Caicedo by describing it as a “dream” to play alongside him. With the duo both shining in the Chelsea XI, they’ve got a chance of beating anyone on their day.
