Kid Rock has blamed America’s declining birth rate on women he describes as ‘ugly’ and ‘deranged’ Trump-hating liberals.

The musician, 54, made the outlandish claim Thursday night during an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters.

Watters shared footage of a group of liberal protesters and opened a discussion to criticize their appearances.

‘When you play your concerts, do you ever see anybody with blue hair, armpit hair– female armpit hair? Some of these people we’re looking at, Kid, I don’t know,’ he said.

The Bawitdaba hitmaker, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, issued his shocking response, suggesting the alleged lack of sex appeal of the protesters was contributing to the declining birth rate.

‘I was just watching your clips, and you know, we have this low birth rate in America, and it all made sense,’ Kid, who shared a brief marriage with Baywatch star Pamela Anderson in the 2000s, told Watters.

‘It just hit me right now because who’s gonna sleep with these ugly a**, broke, crazy, deranged, TDS (Trump derangement syndrome) liberal women?’

The musician claimed liberal rallies are made up of a ‘bunch of women that no guy wants to sleep with and a bunch of dudes that want to sleep with each other’.

General fertility rates in the US have fallen precipitously since the post-World War II baby boom, with fewer women than ever are having babies in America. President Donald Trump has floated policies to encourage more people to have children.

Kid’s criticism sparked a wave of backlash online, with social media users hitting out at his remarks, credibility, and his appearance.

‘He’s ugly af himself. I’m not sure he’s the guy to be calling people ugly lol,’ one X user wrote.

‘I guess he doesn’t own a mirror,’ echoed another, as one questioned: ‘Who would like to sleep with him? Good God.’

‘Where is he going with that? If that’s his reason for a low birth rate -doesn’t say much for the conservative women because liberal women aren’t the only ones who can have children. Don’t think Kid Rock is exactly the birth rate expert,’ one wrote.

Another asked: ‘Doesn’t Kid Rock only have one kid?’

However, some users defended his remarks, with one even writing: ‘TRUE reason for the low birth rate in America! He said it for a lot of us. Thank you, Kid Rock! LOL’

Another added: ‘Kid Rock, not wrong. But we don’t want the psycho blue hairs reproducing anyways.

‘Normal, conservative Americans need to be encouraged to get married young, live within their means, have lots of babies & keep moms home to raise & homeschool them. This is how we win.’

General fertility rates in the US have fallen precipitously since the post-World War II baby boom, dropping from roughly 100 births per 1,000 women to 54.6 births per 1,000 women

Later in the interview, Watters and Kid discussed FBI Director James B. Comey’s now-deleted ’86 47′ social media post.

The White House, along with many Comey critics, interpreted the post as a call for violence against Trump.

‘The head of the FBI — he doesn’t know what 86 somebody means?’ the rock star said. ‘I mean, this guy was either drunk, or he’s clearly got TDS at the highest levels because Trump handed his a** to him.’

Kid continued: ‘I might send out a drunk tweet, all right? I’m in a rock band for crying out loud. This guy’s the head of the FBI. Trump had an assassination attempt twice on him. It’s like, what is the freaking matter with these people?’

The interview comes just days after Trump’s immigration raids briefly forced Kid’s Nashville restaurant and bar to shut down after its employees fled from authorities.

Kid Rock’s Big A** Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse shut down Saturday evening after its leadership warned employees about an upcoming Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid, the Nashville Scene reported.

ICE agents poured through Nashville on Saturday night in a major operation alongside Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The agency caught 196 migrants, of whom 95 had prior criminal convictions and pending charges, according to ICE, and 31 of them were previously deported.

The rapper’s birth rate remarks seemingly echo his support for another Trump Administration initiative – reversing America’s declining birth rate.

Provisional CDC data show births rose in 2024 by just a fraction of a percent from 2023’s record low, fueling concerns about an aging population, strained social programs, and slower workforce and economic growth, especially compared to younger countries.

Trump, concerned about eroding ‘family values,’ has floated policies to encourage more people to have children, including tax incentives for parents, paid family leave, and child subsidies.

White House aides are currently preparing a report to be released by mid-May, which will recommend ways to make in vitro fertilization more accessible to couples.

About 3.62 million babies were born in 2024 — up just one percent from 3.59 million in 2023. The fertility rate was 54.6 births per 1,000 women between 15 and 44 years old, a less than one percent increase from 2023.

This halted the steady two percent annual decline seen from 2014 to 2020 before leveling off. Still, the rate remains low and is not enough to reverse years of steady decline.

The latest numbers suggest a possible turnaround, but experts warn America’s birth rate is still far below what’s needed to sustain long-term population growth.

The Trump administration, notably Vice President JD Vance and co-called First Buddy Elon Musk, has embraced what many call a ‘pro-natalist’ movement aimed at reversing declining birth rates.
