Unknown gunmen have k!lled two travellers along the Wukari-Rafinkada road in Taraba State.
The incident occurred on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
The Senior Adviser to the Wukari LGA chairman on Media And Publicity, Ibrahim Dauda Agbu, who confirmed the incident in a statement said another businessman was injured in the attack.
“Executive Chairman of Wukari LGA and ALGON Vice-Chairman of Taraba State, Honourable Dauda Agbu Samaila, condemned the attack by unknown gunmen along the Wukari-Rafinkada route that resulted in the d3aths of Mr. Lawal Adamu (CHAIRMAN LODIYA) and an Igbo businessman,” the statement read.
“Another Igbo businessman survived and received treatment at the Federal University Teaching Hospital Wukari.
“He appealed to security agencies to take action to secure the area.
“May the victims rest in peace, and we wish those recovering a speedy recovery. More Updates later.”
