MrBeast launched a year‑long challenge to help his friend Majd lose 100 pounds, offering $250,000 in prize money.

Majd stayed at a training facility with unlimited food and a personal trainer, but was confined to a small circle until he reached his goal. Initially set at $250,000, the reward grew to $417,650 through additional fitness tasks broadcast in a special video.

Halfway through filming, Majd’s coach, Tyler Wall, who had motivated him daily, tragically died. Out of respect, MrBeast offered to cancel the release. Instead, Wall’s family encouraged the video to be shared, believing he would have wanted others to be inspired by his message of hope and positivity.

Majd persevered and completed the challenge after 178 days, exiting with a remarkable transformation. He credited Wall, saying: “Without Coach Wall, I wouldn’t have been able to do this. He said it’d be so cool we get to this together. And today is that day.” The video includes a makeover reveal, showing the results of his dedication.

MrBeast also released an official statement: “Coach Wall was a remarkable individual whose kindness and genuine spirit touched all who knew him. His loss has left our hearts heavy… With grace and wisdom, they expressed that Tyler would have wanted his message of hope and positivity to continue reaching others.”
