Actress Julia Fox recently became candid about her sexual orientation.
On Monday, the 34-year-old actress seemingly came out as a lesbian in response to a viral TikTok trend.
The video stitches together a snippet from another user (@emgwaciedawgie) who jokes, “I love when I see a lesbian with their boyfriend. It’s like ‘Aww, you hate that man.’”
Fox then turns the camera on herself and declares, “Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian.
The Uncut Gems star then humorously apologised to her exes, quipping, “So sorry boys. Won’t happen again.”
This TikTok video follows comments Fox has made in recent interviews about being disinterested in dating men and prioritizing her life as a mother.
She had previously opened up about potentially dating a woman in an interview with Ziwe in 2022,
Fox said, “I have some gay bone [in my body] and I need to explore that a little bit more.”
“Like, maybe my ex-boyfriends weren’t wrong when they were calling me a lesbian and complaining that I never wanted to have sex with them.”
Before publicly coming out, Fox had relationships with men.
She married Peter Artemiev in 2018 and they have a 3-year-old son named Valentino, but they finalized their divorce in 2020.
In 2022, she was romantically linked to Kanye West after meeting him at a New Year’s party in Miami.
Despite feeling an immediate connection with the rapper, who was then going through a divorce with Kim Kardashian, their intense romance ended within a month.
