There is one position at Chelsea where there is no real clarity as of yet as to who will be featuring in it when the season starts.
The goalkeeper jersey is very much up for grabs at Stamford Bridge right now, with recent reports saying there is a lack of confidence in Djordje Petrovic’s ability to feature under Enzo Maresca.
This points to the reports that Robert Sanchez will start the season between the sticks. However, there is by no means universal confidence in this selection amongst the fanbase.
This may be echoed in the thoughts of the decision makers too, who are reportedly still considering bringing a new goalkeeper to West London ahead of next season.
The most recent name to be linked with the club is Ajax goalkeeper Diant Ramaj, who is apparently free to leave this club this summer.
Journalist Luca Bendoni has claimed that Chelsea are one of the sides who have been informed about the conditions of a potential deal.

A number of goalkeepers have been reported to be under consideration by Chelsea. Reports linked them today with the potential signing of Filip Jorgensen.
Chelsea hoping for Kepa exit
They will be hoping they can finally bring the era of Kepa Arrizabalaga to an end, with him very much not living up to the transfer fee they paid for him.
The Spaniard has reportedly rejected a move to Saudi Arabia recently, as he sits patiently waiting for something to come to fruition regarding Real Madrid.
Maresca will have likely been looking to establish his number one during the upcoming pre-season tour of the United States. However, Petrovic has not been named in the travelling squad due to a reported injury.
