Gypsy Rose Blanchard announced earlier this month that she is pregnant with her first child with her new boyfriend Ken Urker.
Blanchard announced the news on her YouTube channel in a video titled “I’m Pregnant, My Journey So Far,” in which she addressed “the rumours” that had “been flying around for quite some time.”
Viewers of the video were quick to share their divisive responses in its comment section, with some quoting Blanchard who had previously stated she didn’t want to have a child ‘right now’.
In addition to her YouTube video announcement, Blanchard also provided her viewers with a link to her online baby register requesting her fans to buy her items for the baby.
When still public before requiring a password, Blanchard’s baby register link included items such as a $600 pram, a $529 cot, and a $270 baby swing.
She posted a link that led to the registry on both her Instagram and TikTok stories, with a range of baby items for her fans to buy despite her $3 million net worth.
Additional items included various gifts under $50 or so such as baby bottles, a monitor, blankets and diapers with other items ranging above the $100 mark.
“This is the REAL registry for Gypsy and Ken. Our special baby is arriving in January 2025! Anything truly helps us, we love you all so much,” the registry read.
Among all other items, the most expensive on the list was a $600 Chicco Modular Travel System which consisted of a pram and carrycot.
Blanchard also added two different prams which both cost more than $300.
The first pram is a $330 Graco bassinet that “detects and responds to baby’s cries to help soothe it back to sleep.”
A $240 diaper bin and a set of $69 wooden alphabet blocks were also a part of the list.
Blanchard also added a “Star Wars” $17 Baby Yoda onesie and matching hat set as well as a Baby Yoda aka Grogu-themed “security blanket” and door sign that reads “child sleeping.”
Despite, as previously mentioned, Blanchard’s $3 million net worth, all of the items she requested her fans to buy her were purchased in less than a day.
In total, all items purchased for Blanchard by her fans totalled up to thousands of USD dollars.
After all items were purchased, Blanchard’s fans were still able to send her any amount of money, as well as a Babylist gift card.
Since she was released from prison, Blanchard’s net worth has shot up to at least $3 million following her recent reality show focused on her life.
“I know that there are going to be people who feel like I’m not ready to be a mother, and I don’t know if anyone’s really ready to be a mother,” Blanchard said in her video announcement.
