Three men have been arrested after an allegedly stolen car crashed into another car in Sydney’s west, injuring a child passenger.

Police were initially called to George Street in Parramatta after reports of a fight at 12.45pm today.

Officers arrived and were told that a group of three men had left the area in a car police identified as allegedly stolen.

A police pursuit was initiated before it was called off for safety reasons.

A short time later, the allegedly stolen car crashed into another unrelated car on Parkes Street in Harris Park, injuring a child passenger.

The child was treated at the scene and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

The two men inside the allegedly stolen car were also injured and were arrested at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.

Another man was arrested nearby.

Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
