Chelsea fans had been waiting long enough to see one of their new signings in action for the first time, however last night put that wait to an end.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall started his first appearance for the club against Club America, playing 45 minutes of their 3-0 win.

The Blues blew their opponents away in the first half and could have easily found themselves up by four or five goals.

Chelsea fans impressed by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

It looks as if the Chelsea fans were more than impressed with the efforts put in by the Englishman during his stint on the pitch in Atlanta last night.

One user said: “First Game for Dewsbury-Hall and he already fits in like a glove, causing so many problems. It had to be him to give the assist for Marc Guiu who really deserved a goal after working so hard. I’m so happy.”

Another added: “Said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m happy Dewsbury-Hall plays for my club.”

A third stated: “Kiernan Dewsbury Hall and Cole Palmer are gonna cause absolute havoc this season. Trust me.”

Another added: “Dewsbury Hall should’ve had a couple goals but he actually looks like a very good player, especially in this system. Some really nice runs in behind down that left channel, always available for a pass, really impressed.”

Finally, one user said: “Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is going to QUICKLY become a fan favorite amongst the Chelsea fanbase.”

Dewsbury-Hall has certainly played his way into contention to start the opening game of the Premier League season against Manchester City.

Conor Gallagher likely to be sold

Competition for places in midfield is certainly strong at Stamford Bridge at the minute, however it does look as if one option is going to be on their way out in the coming days.

A fee has been agreed between the Blues and Atletico Madrid for the sale of Conor Gallagher, and will go ahead providing the fact that he decides he can get on board with the move to Spain.

Romeo Lavia was also in fine form last night, and will be hoping that injuries leave him be this season so he can finally kickstart his Chelsea career.
