The Village People’s hit YMCA rang out from speakers outside Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday as Donald Trump supporters flocked to his Florida home with an indictment looming.
There was a party atmosphere among the MAGA faithful in Palm Beach while New York City ramped up security and deployed more cops around Manhattan courts.
A Manhattan grand jury is still deliberating whether to indict former President Donald Trump over hush-money payments made on his behalf during his 2016 presidential campaign.
Trump and his legal team now await word from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office if criminal charges are filed. If so, arrangements will be made for the former president’s surrender and arraignment.

One supporter, who wouldn’t give his name, played classic rock and country music from the speakers of his jacked-up Jeep as Hank Williams Jr.’s ‘A Country Boy Can Survive’ washed over the group.
Mike Arnold, 52, a builder and an arborist, stood by his white pickup truck plastered with pro-Trump stickers to explain why he had turned out at 7 am at the drawbridge near Mar-a-Lago.
‘The bottom line is I support our (former) commander-in-chief because he doesn’t quit, and he’s fighting for us.
‘Just like he carries me on his back, I’m gonna carry him on my back,’ said Arnold, who splits his time between New Hampshire and Ocala, Florida.
He said he believes that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is part of a larger effort to prevent Trump from returning to the White House.
‘If they could get the charges to stick, which they won’t, but if they could, that would stop Donald J. Trump from being able to run for any office ever again in his lifetime,’ he said.

Arnold also suspects that Stormy Daniels is trans.
‘This is my opinion, but just by looking at pictures of Stormy Daniels, she has really broad shoulders. So, do we think we think it is a woman? We think it can possibly be a man,’ he said.
‘Do you think Trump would ever mess around with something like that? Or do you think maybe this whole thing might have been a setup against him?’
He also said it isn’t for us to judge Trump for having an extramarital affair.
A man in a leather cowboy hat and sunglasses, who only goes by the name of Squirrel, joked he was showing support because of free pizza.
Joking aside, he doesn’t believe that the charges against Trump- although none have been listed – are legitimate.

‘I’m kind of wondering if it’s already been proven to be a lie, then are they going to indict? You can indict a ham sandwich and get a conviction. Our system is rigged. That’s why I’m here.’
‘They think by indicting him that they’re lowering his chances of getting back into the presidency, but they don’t realize that they’re galvanizing him. He’s going to be Teflon. He’s going to be the 2023 Teflon Don.’
Debbie Macchia, 57, a hedge fund worker originally from New Jersey, but now lives in Florida, said that she’s there waving a Trump 2024 flag by the side of the road ‘to support the president.’
She said that she doubts that Trump had an affair with Stormy Daniels and had her paid off to stay quiet about it.
‘Everybody has affairs with everybody, right or wrong. It is what it is. I highly doubt [the affair], but at the same time, it’s not a crime. Everybody’s values are different, right? I’m not gonna judge him or anybody else. That’s my opinion. He doesn’t have to worry about my opinion, he’s gotta worry about his wife’s.’
Mark B, 54, who declined to give his full name, said that he felt that the charges were a plan by the Democrats to divert attention away from the banking problems and the economy.
‘Whenever the Democrats get in a jam, they always put it out on Trump. It’s a diversion. You don’t hear anything about the documents in Brandon’s garage. Now the banks are crashing. You don’t hear about that anymore.’
The Manhattan grand jury resumes on Wednesday to hear more witnesses.
