A man has been charged with murder as part of an investigation into the suspicious disappearance of Melbourne tradie Adrian Romeo.
Romeo, a 43-year-old former concreter, was last seen by his family at about 5.30pm on Saturday, February 10 at his home in Craigieburn.
A 58-year-old man was arrested in Wallan, about 45 kilometres north of Melbourne, yesterday evening.
Police interviewed the man and subsequently charged him with murder.
He is expected to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
The charge comes after a police search of a property in Greenvale yesterday.
Romeo was reported missing to police on Monday, February 12.
He has still not been located, and a police investigation remains ongoing.
Victoria police has asked for anyone with information about the location of Romeo’s car, a gold 2004 Toyota Camry sedan, to come forward.
