Daniel MacPherson has opened up about his blossoming romance with former WAG and House Rules star Jessica Dover, revealing they are going as strong as ever.
The former Neighbours star, 44, revealed one of the things he loved most about his beautiful partner was how she was always there for him in his challenging career.
‘There’s lots of great stuff in my life. My relationship with Jess is one of those and we are a wonderful support to each other,’ he told The Daily Telegraph.
‘She’s incredibly supportive of me. Because touring is hard on everybody. It’s hard on family and partners.’
MacPherson added he was thrilled to be back in his hometown of Sydney, performing in the stage play The Woman in Black opposite John Waters, after so many years on the road.
‘So much of my career has been outside of Sydney that it’s kept family and friends slightly separate for a long time,’ he said.
‘Constantly travelling when I’ve got to go to work, and then all of a sudden not only am I back in Sydney, but I’m back doing theatre in a stripped back, exposing performance.’
Daniel’s new show has been performed in London’s West End for three decades and is set to open in Sydney on Tuesday at the Theatre Royal.

In April last year, Daniel finally went Instagram official with his partner Jessica.
Romance rumours began swirling when the Neighbours actor was spotted at the races with the former AFL WAG and House Rules star.
Jessica confirmed the news by sharing a series of photos on Instagram to mark Daniel’s birthday.
‘Happy Birthday @danmacpherson. Adore you,’ she wrote in the caption.
Dan reposted Jessica’s tribute to his IG Story and also shared a picture of the model standing by the ocean alongside the text: ‘Birthday visitor.’
The new romance came two years after Dan split from actress Zoe Ventoura in December 2020, following five years of marriage.
The former couple, who share four-year-old son Austin, shared almost identically worded posts on Instagram at the time, revealing they had mutually decided to separate.
