HGTV star Christina Hall and her estranged husband, Josh Hall, have recently made headlines as their divorce proceedings become increasingly contentious.
According to court documents obtained by E! Online, Christina has now accused Josh Hall of transferring $35,000 of her money into his personal bank account following their divorce filing.
Christina claimed in the documents, “Josh was able to divert over $35,000 of my separate property rental income into his account.”
She further added, “I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.”
The Flip or Flop star, who included a screenshot of the alleged text in her filing, said she discovered this on Sunday, July 21.
She added, “I had no personal contact with Josh on July 8, 2024 and I would not have asked him to send himself my money the day after I told him we are getting divorced.”
Christina and Josh’s relationship began in 2021, shortly after Christina’s divorce from her second husband, Ant Anstead. They share a 4-year-old son, Hudson.
She was also previously married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018, with whom she shares two children: Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8.
The couple’s divorce comes as they were actively promoting their new show, The Flip Off , which they created together.
Despite the personal turmoil, Christina plans to continue with the show as a single woman.
However, the ongoing legal battles and the complexities of their separation suggest that the breakup will not be straightforward.
