From a newspaper publisher to a real estate developer, Jared Kushner is currently a senior advisor to US President Donald Trump, who is also his father-in-law. The young man is also a business guru whose rise in the business began at the early age of 20.

Jared Kushner Bio/Wiki

Kushner was born on January 10, 1981, in Livingston, New Jersey, under the birth name Jared Corey Kushner. He attended Frisch, a modern orthodox yeshiva high school in Paramus, New Jersey, after which he enrolled at Harvard University in 1999 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Government in 2003. Politics and Other Ventures

The young Kushner dared to publish in his 20s when he bought The New York Observer in 2006 and changed the publication method to the tabloid form. Known for his risk-taking in business, he bought a $1.8 billion Manhattan office at 666 Fifth Avenue and more than half of the Times Square Building from Africa Israel Investments Limited for $295 million. To his story of risky calls comes Kushner’s political daring during the presidential campaign of his father-in-law Donald Trump.

With little to no experience on the political scene, Kushner was fully involved in the strategic planning and execution of current President Donald Trump’s campaign and was even praised by Forbes magazine as the man who voted for Trump with a picture of his face on the magazine cover. He is said to have influenced important decisions such as hiring and firing, appointments and demotions at the time.

In January 2017, Kushner was appointed Senior Advisor to President Donald Trump, despite speculation that he would not be part of the presidential team due to his close relationship with the president as his son-in-law on the one hand and his purely democratic family on the other.

Rumors and Controversy

Kushner’s appointment as Senior Adviser was seen as an act of nepotism and caused much excitement in the country. However, no valid reasons were given for his dismissal, so he has retained his position to this day.

The Senior Adviser was also mentioned in the Russian investigation into alleged allegations of his interference in the 2016 presidential elections. Kushner denied any form of collusion with the Russian government and provided details of all meetings with the Russians during this period, making it clear that three of the four meetings were business-related. It was only one of the meetings with a Russian lawyer that was political in nature, and it was not a case of collusion, but a very revealing meeting that brought dark information about the presidential opponent Hillary Clinton into the limelight.

In addition, Kushner and Ivanka Trump were accused of not declaring all their holdings in Kushner’s public financial disclosure forms. However, this was denied by a White House spokesperson who stated that the two had properly complied with all necessary legal requirements for the declaration of assets.
