Exciting reveals are coming out from the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con 2024.
Marvel has confirmed that the Fantastic Four will appear in both Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars.
During Marvel Studios’ Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige announced that Marvel’s First Family will return for the upcoming Avengers movies following the 2025 release of their solo movie, Fantastic Four: First Steps, directed by Matt Shakman.
The Fantastic Four reboot is currently gearing up for filming. Pedro Pascal recently shared an official team-up photo ahead of the filming, which is set to commence the day after SDCC 2024.
Although the plot of the reboot has been kept under wraps so far, it is set in an alternate reality New York City with elements of a retro and futuristic 1960s.
Pascal will play Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Kirby will be Sue Storm (the Invisible Woman), Quinn will be Johnny Storm (the Human Torch), and Moss-Bachrach will be Ben Grimm (the Thing).
Paul Walter Hauser and Natasha Lyonne are also involved in unspecified roles, while Julia Garner is set to portray Shalla-Bal, a version of Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson will take on the role of the supervillain Galactus.
Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to hit theatres on 25 July 2025.
