Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca will take charge of his first game on Wednesday as the Blues take on Wrexham.

Maresca’s side will face five teams in the USA, including Wrexham, as part of their pre-season tour.

Summer friendlies are always exciting but even more so when there is a new manager. Chelsea fans will finally get an idea of the Italian’s preferred style of play, formation and players.

Wrexham have just been promoted to League One – the third tier of English football – so this is a game that the Blues should win convincingly. Indeed, Mauricio Pochettino’s side beat them 5-0 in North Carolina last summer.

The Chelsea Chronicle tells you everything you need to know about the upcoming match, such as the kick-off time, live stream and team news.

Chelsea vs Wrexham Live Stream

Blues fans – except those in the US or Canada – will be able to watch Chelsea vs Wrexham live on the official Chelsea website and app. The broadcast for the game will start 30 minutes before kick-off.

The club will be charging a fee of £4.99 to do so, which has not gone down well with supporters.

Chelsea vs Wrexham Team News

Chelsea have taken 28 players on their pre-season tour of the US, the club confirmed on Monday. The list does not include the likes of Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher and Marc Cucurella, who were at this summer’s European Championship.

Trevoh Chalobah has also not travelled, as the club look to sell him, while Djordje Petrovic and Omari Kellyman will continue to deal with their injury issues at Cobham.

Academy products Josh Acheampong and Tyrique George could be handed the chance to impress, as might new signings Renato Veiga, Tosin Adarabioyo and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
