Frantic search efforts will continue for a 12-year-old girl who was last seen nearly 48 hours ago in one of Sydney‘s most affluent suburbs.
Fears are growing for missing schoolgirl Pepper Stern who was last seen on Girilang Avenue in Vaucluse, in the city’s east, at about 11.15am on Tuesday.
It is understood the 12-year-old has been living at a home in a nearby street in the harbourside millionaires’ row before she disappeared.
NSW Police confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the schoolgirl was still missing as of 6.30am on Thursday morning.

Pepper was last seen outside a business, police sources have revealed.
The street where Pepper vanished intersects with busy New South Head Road which is bustling with cafes and shops, but no-one there said they saw anything either.
It remains unclear why she was in the area at 11.15am on a school day.
The local community rallied around the search for the missing girl, with social media posts from Jewish House organisation and several rabbis begging the public’s help.
A Jewish school in the eastern suburbs also posted an alert on Instagram for her, but later stressed Pepper was not one of their pupils.

Shocked residents on Girilang Avenue said they were disturbed by the girl’s disappearance but had not seen or heard anything unusual at the time she vanished.
Palatial houses on the quiet street sell for up to $10million, while upmarket units easily command a $1million price tag.
Almost 48 hours after the alarm was raised, police have found no trace of her with officials previously telling Daily Mail Australia: ‘We are concerned for her safety.’
Pepper is said to be 162cm tall with long brown curly hair and was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, an orange jumper, and white joggers.
