On Wednesday, Abby’s neighborhood will hold a special event to remember and honor her. Her father, Tim Crawford, works as the Director of Development at Red Bird Mission:
“Our Red Bird Mission and Red Bird Clinic family are heartbroken as we share the news of the passing of Abby Dobie the beloved daughter of Tim Crawford, our Director of Development. Tim shared that his eldest daughter was a gift from God, a daughter, wife, mother, teacher, friend, singer, and lover of God.”

The 2020 Teacher of the Year was Mrs. Dobie, a West Jessamine High School instructor. She leaves behind her children and her husband, Mike, an educator at East Jessamine Middle School who is well-known among the students for his long-standing participation in the yearly Mat ball competition.
