It has been claimed that there will still be interest from Saudi Arabia in his services at the end of the campaign, with them pushing hard to sign him permanently last summer.

He said: “It makes no sense to discuss that now. I’m focused on helping Roma to win and then we will see at the end of the season.”

It does feel as if Lukaku has no real future in West London at this stage, with a number of bridges being burned between both parties.

This however has not stopped some Chelsea fans crying out for him to return to the club, with them not afraid to mention the goalscoring woes they still have.

Lukaku’s 16 goals in all competitions is a higher tally than any current Blues has notched up this season, with it being reported that they are going to enter the market again for a number nine this summer.

It has been claimed that Victor Osimhen is at the top of their list for a potential addition, however PSG will be keeping an eye of Kylian Mbappe moves on this summer.
