Police are investigating after a man was shot in the hand in regional Queensland during a confrontation.

The 43-year-old man was allegedly shot at a home on Blaxland Place, Narangba at 10pm last night, following a believed confrontation with a group of people outside his home.

He was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right hand. 

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the alleged attack.

Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage has been urged to contact police.
