Raheem Sterling’s Chelsea future looks to be in serious doubt right now.

The winger is being linked with a move away from Chelsea amid his struggles at Stamford Bridge this season.

Raheem Sterling had a really difficult game last time out, missing a penalty and golden opportunity from open play in the Blues’ 4-2 FA Cup quarter-final win against Leicester City.

So bad was his performance, some supporters at Stamford Bridge decided to boo the 29-year-old when he was substituted in the second half.

He was, however, still able to set up Cole Palmer’s goal, reminding everyone of the quality that he does have.

MLS could become an option for Raheem Sterling

Sterling’s time at Chelsea is starting to turn into a bit of a nightmare, but it could be ended by a club from MLS.

According to HITC, the England international is attracting interest from the division and Chelsea are now determined to move him on this summer.

It would be a bit of a surprise if Sterling did end up in America. He is not at his best right now, but the wide man is not even 30 yet and has put in some good performances in the Premier League this season.

Sterling has scored in two separate games against his former club Manchester City, the English and European champions.

Raheem Sterling free kick

While Sterling did manage to punish City, it is quite clear that he has been too inconsistent this season. That match against Leicester was truly him at his worst.

On top of the missed penalty and chance in the first half, the Three Lions player took quite possibly the worst free-kick ever witnessed at Stamford Bridge.

Plenty of his team-mates have come out to support him, though, with Thiago Silva showing the former City star some love on Instagram after the FA Cup tie versus Leicester.

Nevertheless, going into the summer transfer window, Sterling’s situation in west London is certainly something to keep an eye on.
