One player who has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the near future has now been named the most in-form player in Europe.

According to WhoScored, Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala is the player registering the highest average rating in his last six appearances.

Musiala is already pushing towards his best campaign as far as goals and assists are concerned.

Musiala’s brilliant form

He already has 15 combined in just 21 Bundesliga matches, and recently in particular has been a real star alongside the likes of Harry Kane.

His recent performances are coming in at an average rating of 8.70 in his last six games, with him not being able to do much in the run in so far.

It does not look as if this is going to make a big impact on the title race though, with it looking like Thomas Tuchel’s side are going to fall short.

This is down to the brilliance of Xabi Alonso and his Bayer Leverkusen side, with the manager already being noticed by some at Chelsea if they need to make a change at the helm.

Chelsea want Musiala

The strong individual form has seen Musiala continue to be linked elsewhere, which will be a normality when you are one of the most talented young players in world football.

The Blues are one of those sides who are reportedly interested in a deal, knowing they already have a place in his heart having helped his development in its early stages.

It has been reported that they are prepared to go all out in the summer to sign him if he doesn’t choose to sign a new deal with the German side.

It doesn’t take a genius to know that they are not the only side who would love to bring in the Germany international at the end of the season though.
