Three men have been charged with assault after a late-night brawl in Adelaide left two people in hospital.

Emergency services rushed to the intersection of Passmore and Norwich streets in Adelaide just after 2am today following reports of a violent altercation.

Security vision from a nearby business captured the moments the brawl erupted, with three men eventually arrested.

Police are still investigating what caused the altercation but residents believe it may have started at a house party.

Two men in their twenties were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Three men, one from Mile End and two others from Cowandilla, were arrested.

All three men have been charged with assault and will face court on Tuesday.

Concerned neighbours raised the alarm by calling an ambulance.

Nearby resident Adam Cattonar alleged to 9News he “heard someone shout out ‘stab him, stab him’ continuously, quite a few times, like ‘stab him'”.

“And then I heard someone say ‘I’ve been stabbed, I’m bleeding,’ and then there were people on the phone, trying to get the police and ambulance,” he claimed.

Rebecca Atwood, another local, said she was concerned “for my own family and those in the street”.

“As well as those who may have been injured,” she said.

Police today blocked the road for several hours, and sifted through scattered evidence while talking to residents.

Blood from was seen on the road, with some even splashed onto a nearby car.
