In a recent incident sparking controversy across social media platforms, a Nigerian man has steadfastly stood by his opinion regarding the resemblance of gospel singer Mercy Chinwo’s son to fellow artist Nathaniel Bassey.
Despite countless petitions against netizens who made similar comments by Mercy Chinwo’s husband, Pastor Blessed and Nathaniel Bassey, the man remains unapologetic, asserting his right to express his viewpoint.
According to him, he clearly disclosed his opinion and this doesn’t go against the law of Nigeria.
He further asserted that expressing an opinion, regardless of its controversial nature, is not a crime but rather a fundamental right.
He said:
“I am not apologizing for saying my own opinion, I stand my ground and I said what I said, Mercy Chinwo’s Son Looks Like Gospel Singer Nathaniel Bassey”
