Journalist Nizaar Kinsella has now shared what Chelsea fans were chanting at Mason Mount during tonight’s thrilling win over Manchester United.

He took to Twitter to share what he heard inside Stamford Bridge when the Blues supporters noticed their former player at the game.

Things looked as if they had all gone wrong for Chelsea when they threw away a 2-0 lead and trailed 3-2 in the final moments of the game.

Palmer saves Chelsea

However, yet more Cole Palmer brilliance secured a thrilling added-time comeback for the Blues, sending those left in the stadium into absolute raptures.

As well as the negative result at the time, things got a whole lot worse for Blues fans when Mount was introduced from the bench in the final moments.

The distain for him had not been hidden throughout the game, with Kinsella sharing in the first half that the fans were keen to jibe the England international when they were 2-0 up.

While things ended with delight for the Blues, it will not be lost on many that they nearly threw away what had been an excellent start to the game.

They were again thankful for Palmer, who has been seen as somewhat of a replacement for Mount this season.

As far as the Chelsea fans are concerned tonight though, they were just delighted to finally get one over on a side who they had not beaten in the last 12 matches in all competitions.
